核爆発事故の影響で、地殻プレートの変動を探知した科学者たちはどうにかそれを止めようとする。温暖化する世界は地球崩壊の前触れだった。避難しようとパニックに陥る人々。

Colonel Ryan Becket (Mark Dacascos) has only 3 days to stop a Pacific plate from moving, which could kill all people on earth. But Becket doesn't only have to fight against time and an adversary, he also has to save his daughter who is kept prisoner in Los Angeles. A game against time starts.

軍隊モノとのことだったので、戦争モノかと思ってましたが（単純ですな...）カテゴリーとしては、「デザスターパニック」モノです。

Mark's Role:
Markは　Ryan Beckett 大佐（偉いんだぁ〜）を演じています。初めての父親役です。しかも娘は15歳...。.....せめて12歳くらいだったらまだしっくりいったかも...。
（コマンドーのALYSSA MILANOくらいだったらベストでは?!　それ以下だったら物語の状況的に難しいかと...）
ルトガー・ハウアーなどビッグネームな俳優も出演していますが、日本で公開されるかどうかは微妙なところ。Markのアクションファンには残念ですがアクション映画ではありません。ただし、Markの優しい父親ぶりが見れる必見作です。こんな父親だったら娘も自慢でしょう♪と文句なしに思えます。

ところでMarkの最近の役柄についてですが、初期に比べアクションよりも演技が重視される役になる傾向が多いような気がします。
